I had a great time taking part in the Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year (LAOTY) 2026. I was lucky enough to win a place in a pod in Crow Park in Keswick – how handy is that for me, some people had travelled from as far as Wiltshire and Cornwall and way up Scotland.
It was the hottest day of the year but everyone had a brilliant time and we were well looked after.
I am pleased to have two paintings, ‘Spring Crocuses’ and ‘Camellias in March’, accepted for the Lake Artists Society Summer exhibition at The Hall, Grasmere. 1st August – 9th September.
This painting ‘’Blowing in from the West’ is being exhibited in the new gallery ‘The People’s Gallery’ at Rosehill Theatre, Whitehaven, on till the 25th September.
